Well as the title says I'm just doing this update to post some more drawings/paintings.
I am actually quite proud of this new Bleach pencil drawing (as well as the colored version). I had wanted to do a group picture for a long time but in the past I could never get it just right. This time I tried drawing them on a set of stairs which seemed to work a lot better. With the coloring I wanted to do a sunset thing and after a few days work (And a lot of frustrations) I managed to come up with what is seen below.
I am also including some commissions I've done lately (that haven't been posted before).

Just a fast update for today. I recently finished my Soi fon and Yoruichi pencil drawing, so this update is just to post that. As always I included the non colored pencil only version.

Well I finally finished my next pencil/digital colored Bleach pic. People just seem to love them and I have a blast drawing them so expect more in the near future.
This time I decided to draw Ichigo and Renji. The plans for this was to extend the Byakuya and Rukia drawing I did awhile ago. It does more or less line up but the heights were a big issue. I also had big issues with drawing Ichigo this time. No matter what I did I just couldn't get his face right. *sighs* It even got to a point where I was forced to use white out on some parts due to heavy amounts of erasing (And the black smudges left because of that). At one point I was even going to quit and abandon it... but I kept at it and tried my best to fix some of the mistakes as best as I could when I colored it.
That's it for today. I shall post again as soon as I have more art to share. I'm currently working on a pencil Soi fon and Yoruichi pic, and it should be posted in a week or so.
Thanks for all the support!
-Leah

Well as the title says I did another pencil Bleach picture. This time I choose Grimmjow and Ulquiorra. I'm not completely happy with how this one turned out but I'm posting it anyway. I had great difficulty drawing these two (And I almost killed by poor eraser) and even yet there are still a lot of things wrong with it. *sighs* However I am pleased with how the background turned out. I don't often do night skies with moons in pencil so this was good practice. As before I took the time to color it a bit in photoshop. Both versions can be seen below.
In other news I just bought my 3rd BJD a FairyLand Puki Cupid2 (from a member on DoA). For those that don't know Puki's are one, if not the smallest, BJD available and are simply adorable. So rest assure as soon as this little darling arrives home I will make sure and post pics!
Also, my first calendar featuring my art is now available for purchase. Just click the following link http://keelerleah.deviantart.com/art/2010-Fantasy-Art-Calendar-142304994 and take a look.
As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Simply posting more of my recent work. Included is my newest pencil/digital colored pic (see previous entry for step my step how to) as well as some of my regular digital work.
The pencil with digital coloring picture features my favourite characters Byakuya and Rukia. It was drawn with regular pencil on 8.5x11 paper then scanned and colored digitally. I also did a special edited version where I cut Rukia out and remade parts of the background (all done in photoshop) as a special surprise for all the fans in the Bya/Rukia fan club over at Bleach Asylum. -- Enjoy guys! ^^
Also below are a few of my newest digital works. One is a payed commission, another is a Sebastian/ Kuroshitsuji fanart, and the last is of my character Raven.

Nothing to much new I just figured I'd upload and share my newest drawing, and yes its more fanart. ^^; This one is from the Manga series Kuroshitsuji (which I just love) and features the two main characters Sebastian and Ciel. It was drawn completely in pencil then scanned and colored in photoshop. I loved how this one turned out so much that I decided to make a brief step by step coloring tutorial that shows what I did. So here is the final finished version (sorry for all the watermarks) followed by the tutorial itself.
As always thanks for looking! Until next time. :)

Well its about time I update here again. ^^; Hmm since my last post I've done a ton more work, bought another bjd, and well to much to remember right at this moment. So I'll just skip to the new art, more of which can be seen on my DeviantART site --> http://keelerleah.deviantart.com/ As a reminder my art is NOT to be used/posted/shared without my permission. I seriously can't stress this enough. *sigh*
Wow, the time really does fly. Hmm, well since I last updated I have injured my wrist, become rather obsessed with the manga Bleach, and completed a few new commissions.
Ok, well I'm just going to go straight to the new art. So here is a few new additions to my Bleach Series:
Also just lately I have absolutely fallen in love with a new BJD (ball jointed doll) and of course its a limited, and no longer available (even if it still was I still could not afford him) lol He is a Soom Euclase and was only available in October. *sigh* Anyway here is a few pictures of him:
Also I have finally started and announced a new contest at DA http://keelerleah.deviantart.com/ where the winner will receive a free commission. Details can be seen by clicking the previous link.
Also I have been featured again this year in kanuka76 's 2009 Drow Callendar. Details on how you can order can be seen at her site.
Well that's it for now, I would have liked to update more, but at the moment I'm not feeling to well, and should be going to bed. So for now, good bye and have a Happy Holidays!

Wow, it really has been a long time since I posted something new. So what follows is a couple of recent commissions and a preview of a Bleach character art series I'm currently working on.
Larger versions of the Bleach paintings can be seen on my web site: http://keelerleah.deviantart.com/

Ok, well as some of you know I was supposed to be on T.V this June 11, well I thought I should let you all know what happened that day. :)
The mural unveiling went well and everyone loved just loved it. My dad made a speech (since he knows all about the old buildings I actually had to paint). Unfortunately not as many people showed up that were supposed to, don't get me wrong there were a lot of people there, but it wasn't a complete full house.
I was rather disappointed though when none of the T.V. crew came out. The organisers were rather upset to, but hopefully this summer when the Delisle centennial celebrations will start (this is why I did the mural) we will get more press. On the plus side, a newspaper reporter did make it so, hopefully, I will get my pic in the paper which will be rather exciting.
So here are a couple photos of the mural. It was done in acrylic paint on plywood, and measures 4x8 feet. And yes that is me (and my dad... he looks so happy lol) in the second picture. :)
Oh, and I thought I would throw in a new photo of my Raven.
Again thanks for looking.
